What to expect as a Logistics and Sales manager?
Logistics Management
- Oversee and manage day-to-day logistics operations for our key customers, ensuring efficient transportation.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize customer needs, reduce costs, and improve service level.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including customs and trade laws.
- Analyze logistics data and prepare reports to track performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
- Resolve any issues related to shipping delays, damaged goods, or other logistical challenges.
Sales and Customer Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company’s customer base.
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand client needs and tailor logistics solutions accordingly.
- Prepare and present sales proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
- Work closely with marketing to align sales strategies with promotional campaigns.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify potential growth areas.
What's expected
- High school
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, with at least 3 years in a sales-focused role.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing successful logistics operations.
- Proficient in logistics and inventory management software – TMS.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales management platforms.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Leadership and team-building capabilities.
