Air Freight Operations Specialist
We are looking for an experienced Air Freight Operations Specialist to join a growing and highly flexible team within the air freight business.
This is a great opportunity for someone who already has solid experience in air freight operations and is looking for more freedom, responsibility and influence over how they work.
What to expect as an Air Freight Operations Specialist?
- Managing day-to-day air freight shipments from booking to final delivery
- Coordinating with airlines, agents, customers, carriers and other logistics partners
- Preparing and checking shipping and transport documentation
- Monitoring shipments and proactively handling delays or operational issues
- Managing import and export air freight processes
- Ensuring accurate and timely communication with customers and partners
- Following up on rates, bookings and shipment status
- Handling operational queries and finding practical solutions to problems
- Ensuring high service quality and maintaining strong customer relationships
- Working closely with colleagues across the business to ensure smooth operations
What's expected
Ideally, you will have:
- 2+ years of experience in air freight
- Good understanding of air freight forwarding processes
- Experience with international shipments and freight documentation
- Good communication skills in Danish and English
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of your responsibilities
- A practical, solution-oriented approach
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- A willingness to learn and develop further
