Our client, an international freight forwarding and logistics company, is now looking for an experienced Customs clearance declarant (licensed/non-licensed) to join their office in Milano or Bergamo. The company has been providing freight forwarding, warehousing and customs clearance services since the 1960’s and continues to keep a stable position in the market.
What to expect as a Customs clearance declarant?
- Timely processing of customs documentation and data entry into the computer
- Obtaining and processing information from transport documents required for customs procedures
- Monitoring and retrieval of customs documentation
- Ensuring timely customs clearance of goods in accordance with applicable customs regulations
- Communication with the customs office - processing of declarations
- Communication with customers and carriers

What's expected
- Completed secondary education
- Previous experience as a customs clearance declarant is essential
- User knowledge of working on a PC (MS Office)
