Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Strategy
- Develop and execute a growth strategy for the express van division
- Identify new market opportunities, customer segments, and service lanes
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients and strategic partners
- Collaborate with sales teams to drive revenue growth and account expansion
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform strategy
Carrier & Fleet Network Development
- Source, onboard, and manage independent owner-operators and fleet partners
- Negotiate contracts, pricing agreements, and service-level expectations
- Ensure capacity availability to meet customer demand
- Implement performance standards and compliance requirements
Operational Performance Management
- Optimize routing, dispatch efficiency, and load planning
- Monitor KPIs including on-time performance, utilization rates, and cost per mile
- Develop continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies
Team Leadership
- Lead and develop dispatch, operations, and support staff
- Establish clear performance metrics and accountability standards
- Foster a culture of customer service excellence and operational reliability
