Key Responsibilities

 

Business Development & Strategy

  • Develop and execute a growth strategy for the express van division
  • Identify new market opportunities, customer segments, and service lanes
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients and strategic partners
  • Collaborate with sales teams to drive revenue growth and account expansion
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform strategy

 

Carrier & Fleet Network Development

  • Source, onboard, and manage independent owner-operators and fleet partners
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing agreements, and service-level expectations
  • Ensure capacity availability to meet customer demand
  • Implement performance standards and compliance requirements

 

Operational Performance Management

  • Optimize routing, dispatch efficiency, and load planning
  • Monitor KPIs including on-time performance, utilization rates, and cost per mile
  • Develop continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity
  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies

 

Team Leadership

  • Lead and develop dispatch, operations, and support staff
  • Establish clear performance metrics and accountability standards
  • Foster a culture of customer service excellence and operational reliability
