Road freight forwarder
Our client has provided global freight forwarding, warehousing, logistics & customs clearance services since 1968. Currently they are seeking to expand their operations team at their branch in Zagreb. The candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operational tasks and ensuring all customers freight arrives on time. The role requires high class customer service skills and the ability to communicate clearly and concisely with customers and colleagues.
What to expect as a Road freight forwarder?
- Organize and plan transportation according to client needs and available vehicles
- Communicate with clients in Croatian and English, building strong professional relationships
- Coordinate drivers and subcontractors, providing them with clear instructions and support
- Track and update shipments, proactively solving any issues that may arise during transportation
- Work with transport documentation – creating, managing and controlling transport orders and documents
- Use MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook) for daily tasks
- Record completed shipments and contribute to the smooth operation of the department

What's expected
- High school diploma or college/university degree
- English – active use in daily work
- Knowledge of Croatian is an advantage
- Previous experience in road transport or logistics is an advantage, but not a must – we are ready to train you
