Sales and operation manager
For our client, which is an international shipping and logistics company, we are now looking for suitable candidates for the role of Sales and Operation Manager, who would take on the role of executing the management of the forwarding services and developing business activities.
What to expect as a Sales and operation manager?
- Manage the assigned organizational unit in terms of people, performance, P&L, budget and working conditions in a way that enables the organizational unit to reach the goals
- Ensure an optimal and clear definition of the tasks and responsibilities
- Manage, set priorities and coordinate the timely and correct execution of the tasks
- Manage, coach and challenge the employees in order to maximize their performance and assure their satisfaction
- Set, manage and control the budget, time and costs
- Ensure a working environment that meets the SHEQ policies and legislation
- Acquisition of new clients
- Farming current clients
- Ensure the operational matters with handling client requests
- Negotiations with shipowners
- Follow up the forwarding and administrative procedures
- Bringing ideas to improve the profitability
- Follow up proposed procedures for improvement and evaluate these
